31 December 2016

With particular reference to the Company's obligations in respect of the secondary listing of its
ordinary shares on the JSE, please be advised that the proposed dates in respect of the Preliminary
Announcement and final dividend for the year ending 31 December 2016 are currently scheduled as
follows:

2017
Thursday 23 February                       Preliminary Announcement (to include announcement of
                                           recommended final dividend: amount of dividend per
                                           share in both sterling and rand; applicable exchange rate
                                           and conversion date – Tuesday 21 February 2017; plus
                                           additional applicable information as required in respect
                                           of South Africa Dividends Tax).

Thursday 23 February to Friday 17          From the commencement of trading on Thursday 23
March                                      February 2017 to Friday 17 March 2017 (inclusive), no
                                           removal requests in either direction between the UK
                                           main register and the South Africa branch register will be
                                           permitted.

Tuesday 14 March                           Last Day to Trade (JSE)

Wednesday 15 March to Friday 17            From the commencement of trading on Wednesday 15
March                                      March 2017 to Friday 17 March 2017 (inclusive), no
                                           transfers between the UK main register and the South
                                           Africa branch register; no shares may be dematerialised
                                           or rematerialised.

Wednesday 15 March                         Ex-dividend date (JSE)

Thursday 16 March                          Ex-dividend date (LSE)

Friday 17 March                            Record date (LSE and JSE)

Monday 10 April                            Last date for receipt of Dividend Reinvestment Plan
                                           (DRIP) elections (UK main register only)

Notes:

(1)   A recommended final dividend may be paid only after it has been approved at the Annual
      General Meeting of the Company which is scheduled for Wednesday 26 April 2017.

(2)   Any changes to the dates set out above will be notified. The dates will be restated in the
      Preliminary Announcement scheduled for Thursday 23 February 2017.
