TRADING STATEMENT


In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE, an issuer is required to publish a trading statement as soon
as it becomes reasonably certain that the distributable income and/or distribution per share for the reporting
period will differ by at least 15% from that of the prior corresponding period. Octodec uses distribution per
share as its relevant measurement of financial results.

The board anticipates that the distribution per share will be between 58 cents and 62 cents, which is between
16% and 24% higher, when compared to the distribution of 50.0 cents per share for the previous corresponding
period.

The company anticipates that distributable income per share for the six-month period to 28 February 2023
will differ by between 8% and 12% (or is likely to be between 81 cents and 99 cents per share) when compared
to the distributable income per share of 79.6 cents per share, reported for the previous corresponding period.

The group expects its interim results for the six months ended 28 February 2023 to be released on SENS on
16 May 2023.

The financial information contained in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the
