TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a
trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results for the
next period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.

The Company hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that for the year
ended 29 February 2020:

- Headline loss per share will be between 22.24 cents and 18.96 cents, representing a
decrease of between 32.27% and 42.27% compared to the headline loss per share of
32.8 cents reported for the year ended 28 February 2019; and

- Loss per share will be between 22.28 cents and 18.93 cents, representing a decrease
of between 33.51% and 43.51% compared to the loss per share of 33.5 cents reported
      for the 28 February 2019.

The weighted average shares in issue increased from 28.019 million to 50.198 million after
taking into consideration the two specific issues of shares for cash in the current financial year.

Headline loss and loss per share decreased mainly due to the increase in the weighted
average shares in issue and was not due to an improvement in operational performance.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by the auditor of the Company. The audited results for the year ended 29 February
2020 are expected to be published on or about 31 August 2020.
