MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS
Notifications made in accordance with Disclosure Rule 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure
Rules and Transparency Rules.
1. The Company was notified on 4 August 2014 that on 1 August 2014 Mr Giovanni
Giordano, a person discharging managerial responsibilities, purchased 1,500 British
American Tobacco p.l.c. American Depositary Receipts (“ADRs”), represented by
3,000 British American Tobacco p.l.c. ordinary shares (the “Shares”), at a price of
US$116.174 per ADR.
2. The Company was notified on 4 August 2014 that on 4 August 2014 Mr J B Stevens,
an executive director and a person discharging managerial responsibilities, purchased
506 British American Tobacco p.l.c. shares at a price of 3,416 pence per Share.
3. Following the above transactions, the total beneficial and family interests in British
American Tobacco p.l.c. 25p ordinary shares of the following persons discharging
