The independent Trustee of the British American Tobacco Group Employee Trust
(the "Trust") notified the Company on 18 December 2012 that it had on 17 December
2012 transferred the beneficial interest in 9,270 British American Tobacco p.l.c. 25p
ordinary shares (the "Shares") subject to an award granted under the British
American Tobacco Long Term Incentive Plan (the "LTIP") to the following person
discharging managerial responsibility ("PDMR") as follows:
