The attention of Remgro shareholders is drawn to the cautionary announcement published by the
Company's subsidiary Distell on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE on 18 May 2021, in which
Distell advised its shareholders that Heineken N.V. has approached Distell regarding the potential
acquisition of the majority of Distell’s business.

The purpose of this announcement is to ensure that Remgro shareholders are made aware of potential
material developments in relation to the Company's subsidiary Distell. This announcement does not
constitute a cautionary announcement for Remgro.
