ERRATUM: NUMBERING ERROR ON PROXY FORM ACCOMPANYING NOTICE OF
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 27 MAY 2021

Shareholders of the Company are referred to the Notice of Annual General Meeting published on
29 April 2021 in respect of the Annual General Meeting to be held on 27 May 2021 (“AGM Notice”).
The Company wishes to advise that there is an error in the Proxy Form accompanying the AGM
Notice (“Proxy Form”).

The Proxy Form incorrectly refers to the ordinary resolution proposing to appoint Ms CJ Nxumalo
as an independent non-executive director of the Company as ordinary resolution 1.4, when it is in
fact ordinary resolution 1.3. In addition, the Proxy Form incorrectly refers to the ordinary resolution
proposing to appoint Ms MLB Msimang as a non-executive director of the Company as ordinary
resolution 1.3, when it is in fact ordinary resolution 1.4.

A revised Proxy Form is available on the Company’s website today at
(https://www.exxaro.com/investors/integrated-reports).

All of the other information recorded on the Proxy are accurate and in alignment with the Company’s
AGM Notice.

The Company wishes to apologise for any inconvenience occasioned to shareholders.
