DIRECTORATE CHANGE

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements shareholders of the Company
are advised that Ms Zanele Matlala has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and
member of the Audit and Risk committee of the Company with effect from 15 February 2022.

Zanele holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accounting Science (Honours) degrees, and she is
a Chartered Accountant (SA). She completed her articles at Arthur Andersen and Company and joined the
Industrial Development Corporation followed by the Development Bank of South Africa and Kagiso Trust
Investments. She held the position of Group Financial Director, representing Kagiso on various boards
(inter alia, Kagiso Media, INCA, Metropolitan, Kagiso Ventures, Kagiso Asset Management, Rothschild).

She joined her current organisation, Merafe Resources Limited as Chief Financial Officer, and now serves
as Chief Executive Officer. She has been serving on several boards and board sub-committees since 2001.
Most notably, she was a non-executive director at Old Mutual Investment Group, Metropolitan Holdings
Limited, Business Partners Limited and a member of the National Treasury Audit Committee. She currently
serves as chair of Stefanutti Stocks, Dipula Income Fund and RAC (RECM and Calibre), as well as a non-
executive director and member of the Audit Committee at Royal Bafokeng Platinum.
