CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS



Combined unitholders are advised of the following changes to the board of directors of Hyprop
(“the board”):

-   as disclosed in the Hyprop 2012 Integrated Report, the current Chairman, Michael Aitken, will retire
    from the board at the annual general meeting of the company on 27 June 2013 (“the AGM”);

-   Gavin Tipper, an independent non-executive director, will be appointed as Chairman of the board in his
    stead. Gavin has been involved in the financial services industry for more than twenty years, and was
    formerly an executive director of Coronation Investments and Trading Limited and a technical partner at
    KPMG, South Africa;

-   Ethan Dube, an independent non-executive director, will replace Gavin Tipper as Chairman of the
    combined Remuneration and Nomination Committee;

-   Marc Wainer, a non-executive director, and Jabulane Mabuza, an independent non-executive director,
    will retire from the board.

All of the above changes to the board will be effective following the AGM on 27 June 2013.

Both Michael Aitken and Marc Wainer have served on the board for in excess of ten years and have
contributed significantly to Hyprop’s success during this time. The board thanks them for their contribution
and wishes them well in their future endeavours.
