TRUSTCO GROUP HOLDINGS LIMITED ("TRUSTCO"): LIFTING OF THE
SUSPENSION OF THE TRADING OF TRUSTCO'S SHARES


1.   Trustco refers to the announcement published on SENS on 7 November 2022 in
     terms whereof Shareholders were advised that the trading of Trustco's shares
     has been suspended.


2.   Subsequently, Trustco published its restated audited Annual Financial
     Statements for the period ended 31 August 2022 ("AFS"), on 28 February 2023.
     The independent auditors issued an unmodified audit report.


3.   The Company restated the AFS without prejudice to its rights in law, as a petition
     to appeal to the Supreme Courts of Appeal (South Africa) was lodged.


4.   Shareholders are advised that the suspension of the trading of the shares will be
     lifted by the JSE from today, Thursday 23 March 2023 at 10h00. The suspension
     will be lifted on all three exchanges, being the JSE, NSX and OTCQX.


5.   On 23 March 2023, the total issued shares would be 987,238,581.
6.   The full effect and consequences of the restated AFS is available and can be
     viewed on the company's website on https://www.tgh.na/
