Results of general meeting                                                      
On 19 February 2007, a circular was posted to Exxaro shareholders (the          
"circular") relating to the related party acquisition of Namakwa Sands and a 26%
interest in Black Mountain Mining (Proprietary) Limited from Anglo Operations   
Limited ("AOL") (the "transaction").  Exxaro shareholders are advised that at   
the general meeting held on Tuesday, 6 March 2007, all the ordinary resolutions 
contained in the notice of general meeting attached to the circular were        
approved by the requisite majority of Exxaro shareholders.                      
The transaction is conditional upon fulfillment of the remaining conditions     
precedent set out in the circular and shareholders will be advised when these   
have been fulfilled.
