Change to the Board of Directors

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
advised that the Chairman of ELB, Mr Anthony Fletcher, has resigned from the board of directors of
ELB (“the Board”) with effect from 14 April 2020.

Mr Fletcher was appointed to the Board in 1996 and served the Group in various capacities including
as CEO and Chairman. Mr Fletcher provided considered and effective leadership to the Group through
a number of market cycles and corporate actions. The Board thanks him for his significant contribution
to ELB and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The Board is currently finalising the appointment of a new Chairman and will advise shareholders of
this appointment in due course.
