AngloGold Ashanti announces pricing of equity offering amendment                
Further to the announcement dated 10 April 2006 released earlier today relating 
to the equity offering, the ordinary shares were priced at ZAR315.19 per share  
(previously stated as ZAR315.00). There are no other changes to the announcement
released earlier.
