PLEDGE OF SHARES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY

Shareholders are advised that the Chris van der Merwe Familie Trust (“Trust”), which is an
associate of Dr Christiaan Rudolph van der Merwe, a non-executive director of the Company,
recently concluded a cession and pledge agreement (“Pledge”), in terms of which the Trust
pledged and ceded in security, 378 000 Curro ordinary shares (“Pledged Shares”), to and in
favour of Investec Bank Limited (“Investec”).

The Pledged Shares serve as security for the Trust’s potential financial obligation towards
Investec, in terms of a guarantee and indemnity (“Guarantee”) which the Trust provided in
respect of a loan of R1 million, advanced by Investec to a related party of the Trust.

The term of the Guarantee and the Pledge is three years, however, it should be noted that the
Guarantee and the Pledge are intended to serve only as temporary security, pending the
registration of a mortgage bond over a property owned by the related party. It is anticipated
that the Guarantee and the Pledge will be cancelled by 31 August 2023. In accordance with
paragraph 3.64(h) of the JSE Listings Requirements, a further announcement will be released
on SENS upon the cancellation of the Guarantee and the Pledge and the release of the
Pledged Shares.

In compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
following information regarding the dealing in shares is disclosed:
