BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT (“B-BBEE”) ANNUAL COMPLIANCE REPORT

Postponement of the financial results presentation and roadshow

Metair shareholders (“Shareholders”) are hereby advised that Metair’s interim chief executive officer,
Mr Sjoerd Douwenga, was involved in an accident on Tuesday, 28 March 2023 and is recovering out
of hospital.

In the circumstances, the financial results presentation (including the investor and analyst audio
webcast) which was scheduled to take place today, 30 March 2023 at 14:00 (SAST), as well as the
forthcoming roadshows, have been postponed and Shareholders will be informed of the new
arrangements in due course.

The board of directors of Metair wishes Mr Douwenga well in his recovery.

Availability of the B-BBEE annual compliance report

Shareholders are further advised that the Company’s B-BBEE annual compliance report prepared
pursuant to section 13(G)(2) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, No. 53 of 2003,
as amended, is available on the Company’s website: https://www.metair.co.za/wp-
