                                      RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY


In terms of the Listings Requirements of the Botswana Stock Exchange (“BSE”), the Company is required to
announce through the BSE any circumstances or events that have or are likely to have a material effect on
the financial results of the Company for the period to be reported upon next.

Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements dated 23 January 2023 and renewed on the
21 April 2023.

The directors of Choppies would like to advise all shareholders that the Company is still in negotiations to
acquire a controlling stake of 76% of the issued shares in the Kamoso Group - a Botswana based company,
operating a fast-moving consumer goods business. Previously the Company was negotiating the acquisition
of 100% of the shares.

The Company has received conditional approval from the Botswana Competition and Consumer Authority.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when trading in their Choppies shares until a
further announcement is made.

The Company’s primary listing is on the BSE and its secondary listing is on the JSE Limited.
