Renewal of cautionary announcement
Further to the cautionary announcement released on the Stock
Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited on 6 November 2015
wherein ArcelorMittal’s shareholders (“Shareholders”) were
advised of a proposed B-BBEE Transaction (“B-BBEE
Transaction”), and subsequent renewal announcements,
Shareholders are further advised that the process in relation
to the proposed B-BBEE Transaction is ongoing and when
successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the
price of the company’s securities.
Due to the ongoing negotiations, it is anticipated that a
detailed terms announcement with respect to the proposed B-
BBEE Transaction will be issued before the end of the fourth
quarter of 2016 after all material B-BBEE Transaction
agreements have been concluded and the general meeting to
obtain shareholder approval will be held in the fourth quarter
of 2016.
Accordingly, Shareholders are advised to continue to exercise
caution when dealing in the company's securities until a
further announcement is made in this regard.
