Dr Booysen has served on the board for 13 years and has made a tremendous contribution through his vast knowledge and experience on both the board and various board sub-committees. The board thanks Dr Booysen for his valuable contribution to Vukile over the years and wishes him well for the future. Following Dr Booysen's retirement, the following key role changes will be affected on 1 September 2025: - Dr Renosi Mokate will assume the role of Chairperson of the environmental, social and ethics committee, which is currently chaired by Dr Booysen; and - Mr James Formby will assume the role of Chairperson of the remuneration and human capital committee, which is currently chaired by Dr Booysen.
