APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS TO THE BOARD OF BIDVEST



In compliance with Section 3.59 of the listing requirements of the JSE Limited, Bidvest is pleased to

announce the appointment, with immediate effect, of

Nompumelelo Thembekile Madisa (Mpumi) as an Executive Director;

Sibongile Masinga (Bongi) as an Independent Non-executive Director;

Florah Nolwandle Mantashe (Nolwandle) as an Independent Non-executive Director, to the Bidvest

board.



Mpumi has had 8 years executive service with the Group and currently serves as an executive

director on a number of Bidvest subsidiary boards including Bidvest South Africa.



Bongi and Nolwandle were both independent non-executive directors of Mvelaserve Limited prior to

the purchase of Mvelaserve by Bidvest. Bongi is the chief executive and one of the founding

members of the Afropulse Group. Nolwandle serves as the Transformation executive at Pretoria

Portland Cement Limited and has been with them since 2008.



The board welcomes the new directors to Bidvest.
