DISCLOSURE OF ACQUISITION OF SECURITIES IN CLICKS GROUP


In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act and section 3.83(b) of the JSE
Listing Requirements, shareholders are advised that Baillie Gifford & Co has acquired further
ordinary shares in the company and its total beneficial interest now amounts to 10.0% of the
total number of ordinary shares in issue.

Formal notification has been received from Baillie Gifford & Co and Clicks Group has filed
the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
