LISTING OF 1NVEST ICE US TREASURY SHORT BOND INDEX FEEDER ETF (“ETFUSDTSB”) IN
THE EXCHANGE TRADED FUND SECTOR ON THE MAIN BOARD OF THE JSE LIMITED (“JSE”)


1. INTRODUCTION


This announcement is issued in compliance with paragraph 19.27 of the JSE Listings Requirements for
information purposes, following the JSE approving the listing of participatory interests in the 1NVEST
ICE US Treasury Short Bond Index Feeder ETF.


The information set out below has been extracted from the STANLIB ETF Programme Memorandum
issued by the Manager on 12 October 2010 and amended on 30 August 2018 (“the Programme
Memorandum”) and the 1NVEST ICE US Treasury Short Bond Index Feeder ETF supplement issued
on 29 August 2022 (“the Supplement”), and relates to:
i.    the offer for subscription of participatory interests in the ETFUSDTSB, a portfolio within the Scheme,
      providing investors with exposure to the, being the ICE US Treasury Short (Dated) Bond Index (“the
      Offer”); and
ii.   the subsequent listing of participatory interests in the “Exchange Traded Funds” sector on the JSE.
2. STRUCTURE


The ETFUSDTSB portfolio is managed by STANLIB Collective Investments (RF) (Pty) Ltd, an approved
manager of Collective Investment Schemes and as such is governed in terms of CISCA. The Manager
has entered into an agreement with the Asset Manager, 1nvest Fund Managers (Pty) Ltd, in terms of
which the Asset Manager will monitor changes to the index constituents and execute transactions to
reflect these changes on behalf of the Manager. ABSA Bank Limited will act as the independent Trustee
and will fulfil its duties as specified in CISCA and the Regulations thereto.

3.6. Index and Investment Policy:

The objective of the portfolio is to provide access to investors who wish to track the performance of the
ICE US Treasury Short (Dated) Bond Index. The ICE US Treasury Short (Dated) Bond Index (“the
Index”) measures the performance of US Dollar denominated short-term government bonds issued by
the US Treasury. The Index is market value weighted, and is designed to include U.S. dollar
denominated, fixed rate securities with minimum term to maturity greater than one month and
less than or equal to one year. The aim of the portfolio is to provide returns linked to the performance
of the Index on a capital and income basis. Income will be distributed semi-annually. The portfolio will
aim to track the performance of the index as closely as feasibly and practically possible.
