RESIGNATION OF DIRECTORS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board
of directors of the Company (“the Board”) wishes to advise that Mr Rodney Sacks
(“Mr Sacks”) has resigned as an independent non-executive director of the Company with
immediate effect. As a consequence, Mr Derek Henry Borer, an alternate non-executive
director to Mr Sacks, also resigned from the Board, with immediate effect.

The Board would like to thank Mr Sacks for the outstanding service he has provided to the
Company during his tenure as an independent non-executive director.
