Resignation of Don Wilson                                                       
Donald Gert (Don) Wilson, Executive Director Finance of Sappi Limited, has      
decided to leave Sappi at the end of July 2006 to take up a position with       
another company and will resign from the Board on 31 July 2006.                 
The Board will make an announcement regarding a replacement in due course.
