                         Anglo American Bonus Share Plan – “BSP”

Awards made under the BSP in 2011 vested on 10 March 2014 and ordinary shares
were released to the undernoted Directors / PDMRs, net of tax and National
Insurance where appropriate, as noted below. The performance condition relating to
the Enhancement Shares was not met and hence those awards did not vest.
