DIRECTORS’ DEALINGS IN THE COMPANY’S SECURITIES

Notice is hereby given, in terms of paragraphs 3.63 to 3.65 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
of the below transactions in respect of the company’s shares by an executive director of the company, the
company secretary and by executive directors of a major subsidiary of the company (collectively “the
participants”).

All awards (in which the interests of all the participants are direct and beneficial) were made on 14
December 2012, are pursuant to the company’s 2012 share plan, are subject to performance conditions to
the extent of at least 50%, vest over a 6 year period at the rate of 0%, 0%, 10%, 30%, 30% and 30% per
annum, relate to the ordinary shares of the company, were made at a price of R102.70 per share, have
received the prescribed clearance and took place off-market.
