Notice of interim results and webcast

Tharisa is pleased to advise that the interim results for the six months ended 31 March 2018 will be
announced on Wednesday, 16 May 2018. The announcement will be issued on SENS and RNS at
08:00 (Johannesburg UTC +2) / 07:00 (London UTC +1) and a media release will follow shortly
thereafter. The reviewed interim condensed consolidated interim financial statements and
management commentary will be available for download in the Investor Relations section of the
Tharisa website at www.tharisa.com.

A results presentation will be held in London at 10:00 (London UTC+1) / 11:00 (Johannesburg UTC
+2) at the offices of Buchanan, 107 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DN. A live webcast of the results
presentation will be available on the Tharisa website and on the following link:
http://vm.buchanan.uk.com/2018/tharisa170518/registration.htm. The results presentation will be
available on the Tharisa website at the same time.
