CHANGES TO THE BOARD
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, Murray
& Roberts is pleased to announce the following changes to the Board of Directors:
1. On conclusion of the disposal of the Construction Products businesses, Dr Orrie Fenn
will be assuming executive responsibility for the Construction Global Underground
Mining Platform. Due to the change in executive responsibility, Dr Fenn has indicated
that he will resign from the Board of Directors with effect from 1 June 2013.
2. The appointment of Nomalizo Beryl (Ntombi) Langa-Royds as independent non-
executive director to the Board of Directors; Chairman of its Social & Ethics Committee
and Member of its Remuneration and Human Resources Committee with effect from
1 June 2013.
Ntombi has BA (Law) and LLB degrees from the National University of Lesotho and owns
Nthake Consults, a human resources consultancy specialising in human resources
management and allied services. She has over 25 years’ experience in the human resources
environment, gained as director of human resources at Independent Newspapers Holdings
Limited, SABC and the Bevcan division of Nampak Limited. Ntombi is a non-executive
director of African Bank Investments Limited; Mpact Limited and Pretoria Portland Cement
Limited.
