Lonmin  Plc  has today received notification in fulfilment of an  obligation
imposed by Section 324 of the Companies Act 1995 that :-

1)  Mr J N Robinson, a Director of the Company, today exercised options over
45,000 ordinary shares of GBP1 each of the Company at an exercise price of
250p per share under the Lonmin Overseas and Associate Share Option Scheme
1994 and over 3,132 shares at an exercise price of 490.0334p per share and
3,132 shares at an exercise price of 408.6272p per share under the Lonmin
Share Option Scheme 1994 and has sold all of the 51,264 shares arising at a
price of 975p per share.
and

2)  Mr I P Farmer, a Director of the Company, today exercised options over
45,000 ordinary shares of GBP1 each of the Company at an exercise price of
250p per share under the Lonmin Overseas and Associate Share Option Scheme
1994 and has sold 43,000 of those shares at a price of 978p per share.
