PREFERENCE DIVIDEND NO.165
Notice is hereby given that preference dividend number 165 at a rate of 6%
per annum in respect of the period 1 April 2018 to 30 September 2018 has
been declared, on 1 October 2018, to all preference shareholders.
In accordance with paragraphs 11.17(a) (i) to (ix) and 11.17(c) of the JSE
Listings Requirements the following additional information is disclosed:
* The dividend has been declared out of income reserves;
* Local dividends tax rate is 20% (twenty per centum);
* Gross local dividend amount is 6 cents per preference share;
* Net local dividend amount is 4.80 cents per preference share;
* Barloworld has 375 000 non-redeemable preference shares of R2 each in
issue;
In compliance with the requirements of Strate and the JSE Limited, the
following dates are applicable:
Dividend declared Monday, 1 October 2018
Last day to trade cum dividend Tuesday, 30 October 2018
Preference shares trade ex-dividend Wednesday, 31 October 2018
Record date Friday, 2 November 2018
Payment date Monday, 5 November 2018
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between
Wednesday 31 October and Friday 2 November 2018, both days inclusive.
