Update relating to the appointment of a Debt Officer and other documents incorporated by
reference into the Programme Memoranda applicable to the African Bank and African Bank
Holdings Limited ZAR25 000 000 000 Domestic Medium Term Note Programmes (the
"Programmes")

Pursuant to paragraphs 6.39(a) and 7.3(g) of the JSE Limited Debt Listings Requirements,
noteholders are hereby advised that Mr Anbann Chetti has been appointed as the Debt Officer of
the Group and the Bank with effect from 17 November 2023 as approved by the board on 17
November 2023. This appointment follows the stepping down by Ms Chrisanthi Michaelides and
handing over the Debt Officer position to the Group's Chief Financial Officer.

The boards of the Bank and the Group have considered and are satisfied with the competence,
qualifications and experience of the Debt Officer.
