Trading statement for unaudited interim group financial results for the six months ended
                                              30 September 2023

SepHold is finalising the financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2023 to be released on SENS
on or about 9 November 2023 and published in the press on or about 10 November 2023.

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a
trading statement as soon as they are satisfied, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that the financial results
for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding
reporting period.

Accordingly, SepHold, Métier Mixed Concrete (Pty) Ltd ("Métier" or "the subsidiary") and Dangote Cement SA
(Pty) Ltd ("SepCem" or "the associate"), collectively referred to as "the group", advises shareholders that, the
basic earnings per share ("BEPS") and headline earnings per share ("HEPS") for the six months ended
30 September 2023 compared to the six months ended 30 September 2022 ("H1 2023") are expected to
decrease as follows:
   • the BEPS to be between 7.12 cents and 7.96 cents representing a decrease of between 24% and 32%
     (H1 2023: BEPS at 10.51 cents), and
   • the HEPS to be between 7.31 cents and 8.21 cents representing a decrease of between 27% and 35%
     (H1 2023: HEPS at 11.26 cents).

SepCem has a December year-end as a subsidiary of Dangote Cement PLC, therefore the associate's figures
incorporated in the interim results refer to the six months ended 30 June 2023.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based, has not been reviewed or reported on by the
Company's external auditors.
