The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited has repurchased the
entire issue of SBEN21 Listed Note issued under its Structured
Note Programme with Suspension Date being 7 June 2028 and
Maturity Date being 20 June 2028 as at the Issue Date (which
are no longer applicable), and has requested the JSE Limited
that SBEN21 be de-listed effective 28 September 2023.


The purpose for the repurchase is due to the Noteholders
redeeming all the Notes and have effectively been paid in full
by the Issuer.


The new salient dates for the early termination are set out
below:


Suspension date                 Friday, 22 September 2023
Termination date                Thursday, 28 September 2023


There is no payment due to paid for SBEN21.
