ABSA GROUP REMUNERATION IMPLEMENTATION REPORT SHAREHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Following Absa Group’s annual general meeting on 2 June 2023, where more than 25% of the votes exercised were
against the non-binding advisory vote number 2 (the remuneration implementation report), shareholders are invited to
raise their concerns or make recommendations on our remuneration implementation report, on a virtual call with our
Group Chairman, Sello Moloko, and the Chairman of our Group Remuneration Committee, Rose Keanly, at 13:30
South African time on 14 July 2023.

Shareholders wishing to register for the call are requested to contact our Group Company Secretary, Nadine Drutman,
