TRADING UPDATE


In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited ('JSE') Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of certainy exists that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20% from the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that Buka is currently finalising its results for the year ended 28 February 2023 and are advised that the basic loss per share is expected to be between 25.00 and 31.00 cents which is a decrease of between 81.60% and 85.20% compared to the basic loss per share of the corresponding period of 168.79 cents.
The headline loss per share is expected to be between 25.00 and 31.00 cents which is a increase of more than 100% compared to the headline loss per share of the corresponding period of 7.39 cents.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the auditors of Buka.
