CORRECTION ANNOUNCEMENT: STEP DOWN EVENT AND INTEREST PAYMENT NOTIFICATION

Noteholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 15 May 2023, in relation to the
step down event and interest payment notification on the EPF022 notes. The Issuer wishes to notify
EPF022 noteholders that the initial margin for the interest period from 28 February 2023 to 28 May
2023 was incorrectly reduced by 5 basis points and that therefore the interest amount due was
incorrect. The initial margin will be decreased by 5 basis points for the interest period from 29 May
2023 to 27 August 2023, payable on 28 August 2023, in accordance paragraph 1.9 of appendix A of
the pricing supplement – Step Down Date.

The correct margin for the interest period from 28 February 2023 to 28 May 2023 is 210 basis points,
the correct interest rate is 9.55% and the interest amount due is R 8 948 219.18.
