As indicated in the aforementioned announcement, the cold and hot commissioning of the BPM Processing Plant was expected to commence in March or April of 2023, after the deficiencies or snags which were identified during the test run have been resolved and rectified. Hot commissioning was planned from 23 March 2023 to 30 March 2023 (being 7 days of continuous operation), however, a steady state operation was not achieved due to several challenges during this period. It is envisaged that these challenges will be resolved swiftly and that commissioning of the BPM Processing Plant will commence before the end of May 2023. Production at the BPM is expected to commence as soon as possible after the commissioning process of the BPM Processing Plant has been completed. The Company will update shareholders and investors on the progress at the BPM, and further announcements will be made in this regard, as and when appropriate.
