FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE PROPOSED NAME CHANGE OF
THE COMPANY

Shareholders of Kaap Agri (“Shareholders”) are referred to the Company’s results of annual
general meeting (“AGM”) announcement which was released on the Stock Exchange News
Service on 9 February 2023, advising Shareholders of the approval of the resolutions
proposed at the AGM, including special resolution number 5 and ordinary resolution number
12, as set out in the notice of AGM, which pertain to the proposed name change of the
Company.

The Company has received confirmation from the Companies and Intellectual Property
Commission of the registration of special resolution number 5, thereby approving the name
change.

The name of the Company will change from “Kaap Agri Limited” to “KAL Group Limited”, with
the following details:

    •   the abbreviated name shall change to “KAL Group”;
    •   the JSE share code shall remain “KAL”;
    •   the ISIN number shall remain ZAE000244711;
    •   the sector of the Company shall remain “Retailers”; and
    •   the Company will retain its Shareholder register and its trading history.

The final salient dates and times relating to the change of name are as follows:

 Last date to trade prior to the name change*                       Monday, 20 March 2023

 Termination of trading under the name of                        Wednesday, 22 March 2023
 “Kaap Agri Limited” and commencement of
 trading under the new Company name,
 being “KAL Group Limited”
 
 Record date for the name change                                     Friday, 24 March 2023

 Date that the accounts of dematerialised                            Monday, 27 March 2023
 shareholders with their central securities
 depository participants or brokers will be
 updated with the new name

*Shareholders may not dematerialise or rematerialise their Kaap Agri shares after the last
day to trade in Kaap Agri shares prior to the name change.
