TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF ACQUISTION OF SECURITIES


In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (the “Companies Act”) and
paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that
Zeda has received formal notifications that Silchester International Investors LLP (“Silchester
International”) and Silchester International Investors International Value Equity Trust (“Silchester Trust”)
have acquired interests in the ordinary shares of the Company, such that the total interest in the ordinary
shares of the Company held by Silchester International amounts to 17.68 % and Silchester Trust
amounts to 8.49% of the total issued ordinary shares of the Company.

Zeda has, as required by section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, filled the required notice with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
