CHANGES TO THE BOARD AND BOARD COMMITTEES

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements and paragraph 5.28 of
the BSE Listings Requirements, respectively, the board of directors of the Company
(“the Board”) wishes to advise that Ms Bridgitte Mathews has, with effect from
1 January 2023, been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company,
as well as a member of both the audit and risk and the social and ethics committees of the
Company.

Bridgitte is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a postgraduate certificate in advanced
taxation from the University of South Africa. Currently, Bridgitte consults on, inter alia,
company secretarial and regulatory requirements. She serves as an independent
non-executive director on the boards of both Kaap Agri Limited and Metair Investments
Limited.

Shareholders are further advised that Mr Nico de Waal has, with effect from
31 December 2022, resigned as a non-executive director of the Company and as a member
of the Company’s social and ethics committee, in order to pursue other interests.

The Board welcomes Bridgitte and looks forward to her contribution to the Company.
Furthermore, the Board expresses its appreciation to Nico for his valuable contribution to the
Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
