CHANGE IN EXTERNAL AUDITOR

Shareholders of Trematon (“Shareholders”) are advised that the board of directors of the Company
(“the Board”), on recommendation of Trematon’s audit and risk committee, has appointed Moore
Cape Town Inc (“Moore”) as the new external auditor of the Company for the 2023 financial year, with
the designated audit partner being Pierre Conradie.

The appointment of the incumbent external auditor, Mazars will terminate on 30 November 2022 and
Moore’s appointment as external auditor will be effective immediately after Mazars’ appointment
terminates and will be proposed for approval by Shareholders at the annual general meeting of the
Company, scheduled to be held on 25 January 2023.

The change in external auditor follows Trematon’s decision to adopt the mandatory audit firm rotation
rule early, as issued by the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors, which will be applicable for
financial years commencing on or after 1 April 2023.

The Board would like to thank Mazars for their long-standing service to the Company and look forward
to working with Moore.
