We refer shareholders of Royal Platinum Limited ("RBPlat Shareholders") to the previous announcement by the Takeover TAKEOVER REGULATION PANEL (Established in terms of the Companies Act, 2008) (“TRP” or “Panel”) We refer shareholders of Royal Platinum Limited ("RBPlat Shareholders") to the previous announcement by the Takeover Regulation Panel ("Panel") published on 13 September 2022. It has come to the Panel's attention that a misleading communication has again been sent to certain RBPlat Shareholders by a third party seemingly requiring them to make an immediate election regarding whether or not to accept the offer made by Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (“Implats Offer”). The Panel is concerned about the continued dissemination of false information relating to the Implats Offer and is investigating the source thereof. In the interim, RBPlat Shareholders are hereby notified that the above communication is misleading and factually incorrect and that they should not take any action based on this communication. RBPlat Shareholders are advised to await further information regarding the Implats Offer timelines which will be formally communicated to them in due course via the JSE Limited's stock exchange news service (SENS).
