Various matters involving Caxton and CTP Publishers and Printers Limited (“Caxton”)

Mpact welcomes the Competition Tribunal’s (“Tribunal”) recent, 22 September 2022, decision to deny
Caxton permission to file a merger notification, and to refer the matter back to the Competition
Commission (“Commission”).

In addition, certain assertions have been made in the media to the effect that the Tribunal concluded
that the Commission was “wrong” to refuse to permit Caxton to make a separate merger filing and that
Caxton’s actions “are proof enough that it is serious about an offer”. These statements and assertions to
a similar effect are incorrect.

Mpact is also aware that Caxton has released an announcement on SENS on 6 October 2022 regarding
the Tribunal's decision and other matters in respect of Mpact (“Caxton Announcement”), which contains
further incorrect and misleading statements.

In order to ensure that shareholders are accurately informed, Mpact intends to release a detailed
announcement regarding the Tribunal's decision and the Caxton Announcement in the near future. In
the meantime, shareholders are cautioned not to place reliance on the abovementioned comments in
the media or on the Caxton Announcement.
