NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122(3) OF THE COMPANIES ACT
AND SECTION 3.83(b) OF THE JSE LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS

In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“the Act”) and section
3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that:

Petroland Group Proprietary Limited (“Petroland”) and Terra Optimus Proprietary Limited (“Terra
Optimus”) have acquired Afine ordinary shares, such that the beneficial interests in Afine of
Petroland and Terra Optimus now amount to 6.22% and 5.55%, respectively, of the total number
of Afine shares in issue which, after the acquisition of Glomor Three (Pty) Limited, amounts to 72 536
585.

Afine hereby confirms that it has received the required notices from Petroland and Terra Optimus
in terms of section 122(1)(a) of the Act. As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, Afine
has filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
