CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF INVESTEC BANK LIMITED (the “BOARD”)

Investec announces, in accordance with Section 6.39 of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements and
receipt of requisite regulatory approvals, the following changes to the Board of Investec Bank
Limited:

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Rupesh Govan as Finance Director of
Investec Bank Limited with effect from 01 August 2022.

Rupesh replaces Marlé van der Walt, who will continue to serve as a valued employee of the
Investec Group in the UK business. Marlé will accordingly resign from the Board with effect from
31 July 2022.

The appointment of Rupesh was made pursuant to the policy dealing with the nomination of
directors to the Board.
