Correction announcement: Amended unaudited interim results for the six
months ended 31 December 2021
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published by Momentum Metropolitan on the Stock Exchange
News Service on 9 March 2022 (“the short form announcement”), wherein shareholders were notified that the
full Financial results announcement – Operating profit and condensed consolidated interim financial statements
for the six months ended 31 December 2021 (“the full interim results announcement”) – were available.
Shareholders are advised that the short form announcement and the full interim results announcement have
been amended to correct an error in the attribution of the Group’s normalised headline earnings between
operating profit and investment return for the six months ended 31 December 2021. Operating profit for the
period has been increased by R110 million, while investment return was reduced by R110 million. Normalised
headline earnings, headline earnings and basic earnings were not affected. The prior period was not affected.
