Structures Act, 1998, as amended)

UPDATE ON THE PUBLICATION OF CITY OF TSHWANE METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY
2020/21 AUDITED ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND AUDIT REPORT

Noteholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service of the
JSE Limited on 24 January 2022, advising of the delay in availability of the Annual Financial
Statements for the Year ended 30 June 2021.

City of Tshwane would like to advise that the audit of its 2020/21 Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
has been concluded.

The City further advises that the accounting officer has requested a special sitting of the City of
Tshwane Municipal Council, for the purpose of tabling the audited financial statements and audit
report, in terms of S68(1)(a) of the Municipal Finance Management Act.

The agreed date for the special Council sitting will be communicated with urgency through the City of
Tshwane Speaker’s Office and same will be published in the press.

Upon tabling of the AFS and audit report at Council, these documents become immediately available
for public dissemination.
