CHAIRPERSON OF THE AUDIT & RISK COMMITTEE


The Board of directors of TeleMasters is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mrs Talana Smith (“Talana”) as an Independent Non-Executive Director of TeleMasters
and Chairperson of the Audit & Risk Committee with effect from 2 November 2021.

Talana is a CA (SA) and holds, inter alia, a Masters in Financial Management and a CIMA
qualification in International Cost Accounting. Talana has held various senior executive
and management roles, including that of Chief Financial Officer of TeleMasters and
Financial Director of Atterbury Property Group, Director of Mergers at Attacq Limited
(pre-listing) and Company Secretary of Attacq Limited. She is currently the HR and BEE
Transformation Manager at Safari Investments RSA Limited where she also serves on the
Social & Ethics Committee and is part of the Manco team. She is also the Chairperson of
the ELEOS Charity.

The TeleMasters Board is pleased to welcome Talana back to the fold and looks forward
to benefitting from her extensive skills and experience. The Board also extends its
appreciation to Dr David Bate for acting as the Chairperson of the Audit & Risk
Committee following the untimely passing of Mr Marthinus Erasmus.
