UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2021

Further to the trading statement released on 15 June 2021,
shareholders are advised that the Company expects to report
earnings and headline earnings of between 170 cents and 180
cents per share for the six months ended 30 June 2021 compared
with the loss per share and headline loss per share of 48 cents
and 31 cents respectively for the six months ended 30 June 2020.

As 2020 was an abnormal trading year due to the effects of
Covid-19, the Company believes it will provide value if the
current performance is also compared with that in the six months
ended 30 June 2019 (“pre-Covid-19 comparative period”).
Accordingly, the Company’s earnings and headline earnings for
the six months ended 30 June 2021 are expected to be between 170
cents and 180 cents per share compared to the earnings per share
and headline earnings per share of 165 cents and 164 cents
respectively for the pre-Covid-19 comparative period, which is
between 3,0% and 9,1% higher than the earnings per share and
between 3,7% and 9,8% higher than the headline earnings per
share of the pre-Covid-19 comparative period.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based
has not been reviewed and reported on by the Company’s external
auditors.

The results for the six months ended 30 June 2021 are expected to
be announced on SENS on or about 9 September 2021.
