Final 2020 Dividend and Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative

Further to the announcement of the Final 2020 Dividend and the Enhanced Scrip
Dividend Alternative on 12 March 2021, the Board of Hammerson plc (the Company)
announces that valid elections to participate in the Enhanced Scrip Dividend
Alternative were received from Shareholders holding 3,291,151,549 Shares. Accordingly,
the number of New Shares to be issued under the Enhanced Scrip Dividend Alternative
is 146,446,064.
Therefore, applications have been submitted for 146,446,064 New Shares to be
admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange, the secondary listing segment of
the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange plc, trading as Euronext Dublin, and the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange, bringing the total number of issued 5 pence ordinary
shares in the Company to 4,203,744,238.
The New Shares are expected to be issued and admitted to trading on the Main Market
of the London Stock Exchange, Euronext Dublin and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange
on 13 May 2021. A further announcement will be released to confirm when those New
Shares have been issued and admitted to trading on the respective stock exchange.
