Reopening of shopping centres in Poland EPP N.V. (Incorporated in The Netherlands) (Company number 64965945) JSE share code: EPP ISIN: NL0011983374 LEI code: 7245003P7O9N5BN8C098 (“EPP” or “the company”) REOPENING OF SHOPPING CENTRES IN POLAND Shareholders are advised that on 29 January 2021 the Polish government signed a decree which allows shopping centres to reopen on 1 February 2021. Therefore, from 1 February 89% of EPP’s retail portfolio in terms of GLA will be able to operate again. However, restrictions remain applicable to restaurants which can only operate on a take-away and delivery basis, while cinemas, fitness and entertainment facilities will remain closed. COVID-19 case numbers in Poland have been steadily declining since their peak at the end of November 2020 and as of today it has one of the lowest 14-day COVID-19 case notification rates per 100,000 inhabitants when compared to its neighbouring countries and the European Union. Due to the stable pandemic situation and relatively low infection rates in the country, Poland is one of the few countries in the region that has decided to ease restrictions, starting with the relaunching of wider shopping centre operations as well as opening museums and art exhibitions. Importantly, Poland’s Health Minister confirmed that he is satisfied with the sanitary measures taken at shopping centres and considers the risk of disease transmission at retail destinations to be low. The reopening of shopping centres is crucial for the entire retail industry to kick start sales growth. Shopping centres remain the most favoured places to shop for Poles and EPP is ready to safely welcome back all its customers and tenants. 1 February 2021 JSE Sponsor Java Capital Luxembourg Stock Exchange Listing Agent Harneys Luxembourg For more information: Curwin Rittles, Investor Relations, EPP Mobile: +48 885 982 310 Curwin.rittles@epp-poland.com Java Capital, JSE Sponsor Phone: +27 11 722 3050 Harneys Luxembourg, Luxembourg Stock Exchange Listing Agent Phone: +352 27 86 71 02 Singular Systems IR Michèle Mackey +27 (0)10 003 0700/+27 (0)82 497 9827 michele@singular.co.za Date: 01-02-2021 01:30:00 Produced by the JSE SENS Department.
